Home at last

Home at Last
Well we travelled for 30 days and are at last home with the kids. Great to get hugs and catch up on their news. Check the blog for some fun facts. Thanks to all who kept in touch. It meant alot to us.

In Phuket

Last full day
Well it is our last complete day of holiday before we begin the long trek home tomorrow. We are now in downtown Phuket and after our 5 days on the peaceful Ko Phi Phi, Phuket is a shock to our system. Wow!! I'm happy we did not plan to stay any longer than this one night! From a couple of...

Day 26 and 27
Ko Phi Phi is beautiful, though we arrived in steerage class on a 3.5 hour boat ride!!! Thank goodness for Gravol! Sue claims she could have jogged here faster, and we all know Sue's claims to being able to walk on water...The resort here has made up for the trip. It is peaceful (Musak...

Time to relax and bake
We have arrived in Ko Phi Phi (pronounced ko pee-pee...no indication of the water quality). It is a very laid back resort with beautiful beaches, scenery, snorkeling and no one trying to sell us anything! Check out the blog, but no pictures this time.

Day 20 to 25 (again, we think)
Day whatever…we have made it to Bangkok…in the taxi from the airport we knew things would be different here as the driver couldn’t figure out which hotel we wanted even with the map. It seems the nice tour guide at the airport in the tourism booth misinformed us as she was trying to sell us...
